A total of 157 Indian deportees, are set to arrive in Amritsar this evening on a US military flight, marking the third batch of immigrants being sent back as part of the Donald Trump administration’s ongoing crackdown on illegal immigration.
Of the 117 deportees, 65 are from Punjab, 33 from Haryana, 8 from Gujarat, 3 from Uttar Pradesh, 2 each from Goa, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan, and 1 each from Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.
