India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar’s car was surrounded by a Khalistani supporter in London. During this, a Khalistani supporter came in front of Jaishankar’s car and tore the tricolor. Jaishankar is currently in London. He had participated in a special program at the Chatham House Think Tank here.
As soon as the program ended, he moved towards his car. The Khalistani protesters who were already protesting there started shouting slogans on seeing him. After this, a person stood in front of his car with a tricolor and blocked the way. During this, he also did a shameful act like tearing the Indian national flag.
Immediately after seeing this act of the Indian angry person from the protest,
the security personnel caught him and took him away from the car. On the other side, some Khalistan supporters were raising slogans with the Khalistan flag in their hands. The videos of this incident are going viral on social media, which has caused anger in the Indian community.
After this incident, Indians have protested in London. People are demanding from the British government that strict action should be taken against those who insult the Indian national flag. Also, the Indian government is also expected to raise this issue at the diplomatic level.
It is worth noting that anti-India activities by Khalistani elements have been seen many times in foreign countries before
. Such incidents have taken place outside Indian embassies in countries like Britain, Canada and America, on which the Indian government has already protested.
