Fire broke out in South Korea, many people died

On Friday, a fire at a resort construction site in Busan, South Korea, resulted in at least six fatalities, according to fire officials. Busan’s fire agency reported that over 100 workers were evacuated from the site.

Six people were hospitalized due to cardiac arrest and were later pronounced dead. Seven others sustained minor injuries. Around 90 firefighters were dispatched to the scene after the fire was reported at approximately 10:20 am. Television footage showed smoke and flames, and a helicopter was involved in the firefighting efforts. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
South Korea’s acting president, Choi Sang-mok, instructed officials to deploy all available personnel and equipment to assist in rescue efforts.
