US President Donald Trump recently posted an AI video on social media, in which he tried to say that this could be the future of Gaza. Trump plans to drive the Palestinians out of Gaza. In that video, videos of women dancing in a nightclub, Trump and Netanyahu chilling in the pool could be seen. This video was strongly criticized by Muslim countries. Meanwhile, clouds of crisis are also looming over the Gaza ceasefire. The first phase ended on March 1 and there is no agreement between Israel and Hamas for the new phase. Meanwhile, Egypt has said that it has prepared a future plan for Gaza, which it will present at the Arab summit to be held on March 4.
Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelati announced on Sunday that his government has prepared a comprehensive plan for the reconstruction of Gaza. The main objective of this plan is to keep the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip. This plan will be presented at the emergency Arab summit to be held on March 4.
Egypt’s plan needs international support
Abdelati said the plan would not be limited to Egypt or Arab countries, but would also seek international support and financial cooperation, the Times of Israel reported.
“We will hold intensive talks with major donor countries after the approval of this plan,” Abdelati said at a press conference. Describing the economic participation of European countries as important, Abdelati said their role would be crucial in the reconstruction of Gaza.
Egypt appeals for ceasefire
When asked about the recent ceasefire in Gaza, Abdelati said that Egypt will continue to strive for its implementation. He also clarified that after the success of the first phase of the ceasefire, now negotiations on its second phase are necessary. He said, “The first phase has been successfully completed, now we have to focus on the second phase of negotiations, which is necessary to maintain the ceasefire. It will be difficult, but if the political will remains, it can be achieved.”
Organisation of Islamic Cooperation meeting
Abdelati further said that after the emergency Arab summit, an important meeting of the foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will be held in Saudi Arabia. In this meeting, a strategy will be made to effectively present the conclusions of the summit at the global level.
