Pop Singer Shakira Hospitalized: Bad news has come for the fans of Colombian singer Shakira. Actually, the pop singer’s health suddenly deteriorated, after which she had to be admitted to a hospital in Peru. Due to Shakira’s ill health, she canceled her concert to be held in Lima. Shakira informed her fans through social media that the doctors have forbidden her from performing and she is not in a position to do the show. Shakira expressed grief but also said that she will soon come up with a new date for the show.

Shakira cancels show in Lima
On Sunday, Shakira wrote in a post on Instagram and X that she is currently hospitalized. She had a serious stomach problem, due to which she is not able to perform. Shakira said, ‘I am very sad that I will not be able to come on stage today. I was very emotional and excited that I would be able to meet my beloved Peruvian fans again.’
Fans gave a warm welcome
Shakira’s Peru visit was warmly welcomed by fans. She arrived in Peru on Friday night and was scheduled to perform in Lima on Sunday and Monday. Peru was the second stop of her Latin American tour “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran”, before which she had performed two shows in Brazil. Peruvian fans gathered in large numbers at the airport to welcome Shakira. Shakira wrote on Instagram, ‘Lima, thank you for such an emotional welcome!’
Shakira expressed hope for a speedy recovery
In her post, Shakira said that she hopes to recover soon and intends to do this show soon. She wrote, ‘I plan to hold this show as soon as I recover. My team and promoters are currently working on a new date’.
Shakira’s new album
Shakira is currently on tour to promote her new album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. Shakira’s tour will continue in Latin America and she will also have concerts in Canada and the US in May. Her fans are wishing for her speedy recovery so that she can be a part of her tour again.
