Dressed in high-visibility police vests, the robots are performing patrol duties on the streets. A video of one of these robots walking with officers, waving to the public, responding to voice commands, and even shaking hands has gone viral, sparking online excitement.The sight of the police robot has quickly become a trending topic, with many impressed by its lifelike appearance. One user commented, “This is the first robot from China that walks upright like a human.”Others see greater potential in humanoid robots beyond law enforcement and military uses. One user noted, “Household service robots have the highest demand and potential. If they can replace housekeepers at an affordable price, we’ll enter a new era of humanoid robots.”
