Indian Student Vishvaa Rajakumar Wins Memory League World Championship

Vishvaa Rajakumar, a 20-year-old Indian student, has claimed the Memory League World Championship title by demonstrating extraordinary memory skills. Competing against 16 top-ranked participants, Rajakumar excelled in recalling sequences of numbers, names, images, words, and cards.

According to the official website, he memorized 80 random digits in just 13.50 seconds and recalled 30 images in an impressive 8.53 seconds. Rajakumar, a student at Manakula Vinayagar Institute of Technology in Puducherry, participated in the championship, which was conducted online.

During the competition, participants were briefly shown 80 random numbers on a screen before being required to accurately reproduce them on a recall sheet.

The tournament follows a double-elimination format, where competitors start in the Main Bracket. A loss moves them to the Repechage Bracket, and a second loss results in elimination. The winner is determined through this intense knockout process.
