Mumbai, India: Bollywood actress Kiara Advani has reportedly stepped down from her role in the highly anticipated action film Don 3 after announcing her pregnancy with husband Sidharth Malhotra.
According to Indian media, Kiara, who was set to star opposite Ranveer Singh, made the decision to prioritize her personal life as she prepares for motherhood. Her departure from the film was confirmed as a mutual decision between her and the filmmakers.
The news comes just days after Kiara and Sidharth shared their pregnancy announcement on March 1, 2025, posting an Instagram photo of tiny baby socks with the caption, “The greatest gift of our lives. Coming soon.” The post received an outpouring of love from fans and Bollywood stars, including Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
Kiara was officially announced as the female lead in Don 3 in February 2024, generating excitement among fans. The film, directed by Farhan Akhtar and produced by Excel Entertainment, will mark the final chapter of the iconic Don franchise, with Ranveer Singh replacing Shah Rukh Khan as the new Don.
