Europe had given money to Ukraine and now it is taking it back.’ Donald Trump remained silent and agreed while Macron interrupted and corrected him. Macron grabbed Donald Trump’s arm during this time. He said, ‘To be clear, we spent 60 percent of the total expenditure. This loan was in the form of guarantee. We have Russian assets worth $230 billion in Europe, which have been frozen. But this is not in lieu of a loan. This is Russian property and it has nothing to do with us. That is why it is frozen.’ Macron said that it is Russia’s responsibility to return the money for the help given to Ukraine. When we finally talk to Russia, we will ask them to return the loan amount. Russia will have to return this amount. Trump replied to this and said that if you say so, it is right. But my concern is that those countries are getting their money back, but we are not getting our capital.
The Donald Trump administration is currently making a revenue sharing agreement with Ukraine regarding some minerals. Under this, Ukraine is trying to recover some part of the aid given to Ukraine during the Biden administration. This amount was given by the US administration to buy weapons in the war against Russia. Trump says that he hopes that an agreement can be reached with Ukraine regarding minerals. Under this, some part of the $ 180 billion aid given by America can be recovered. It seems that we have come very close to that deal. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that we are close to an agreement with America.
