Nicole Kidman Becomes the World’s Highest-Paid Actress of 2024
Nicole Kidman has once again claimed the title of the world’s highest-paid actress, according to Forbes’ latest list. At 57, she defies Hollywood norms by securing leading roles and making films on her own terms. With net earnings of $31 million ($41 million gross), Kidman topped all female actors globally, ranking eighth overall—surpassing stars like Will Smith and Adam Sandler and trailing just behind George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
Forbes described Kidman as the “reigning queen of AMC Theaters” and one of the most bankable stars in the TV miniseries space. In 2024, she starred in three major shows—The Perfect Couple (Netflix), Lioness (Paramount+), and Expats (Amazon Prime Video)—earning $1 million per episode for each. Additionally, she led two successful romantic films, Babygirl and A Family Affair, both featuring her opposite younger male co-stars.
This marks the first time in 17 years that Kidman has topped the list. The last time she held the title was in 2007, when she earned $28 million. Despite Hollywood’s male-dominated pay scales and the industry’s limited opportunities for older actresses, Kidman continues to thrive, proving that talent and star power know no age limits.
