Attack Timeline
According to a witness account to Israel’s Walla news website, the attacker arrived by bus from Shfaram and began stabbing passengers inside before moving outside to attack others on the concourse.
Reactions and Tensions
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the attack, vowing to continue fighting those who “seek to murder us.”
Although no group immediately claimed responsibility, Hamas called the attack “heroic”, framing it as a response to Israel’s actions in Gaza. The attack comes amid ongoing tensions and a deadlock over ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas.
