Twelve People Injured in Toronto Pub Shooting, Suspects Remain at Large

A shooting at a Toronto pub has left 12 people injured, with three suspects still on the run, according to city police.

The incident occurred at 10:39 p.m. on Friday (3:39 a.m. GMT Saturday) near Scarborough city centre in eastern Toronto. Authorities confirmed that six of the victims sustained gunshot wounds, though all injuries were reported as non-life-threatening. The victims range in age from their 20s to mid-50s.

Police identified three male suspects involved in the shooting. Earlier reports indicated that one suspect, wearing a black balaclava, was seen fleeing the scene in a silver vehicle.

Law enforcement officials have stated that all available resources are being used to track down and apprehend those responsible.

Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow expressed concern over the incident, writing on X, “I am deeply troubled to hear reports of a shooting at a pub in Scarborough.” She added that the police chief had assured her that every effort was being made to address the situation.

“This remains an active investigation, and police will provide further updates. My thoughts are with the victims and their families,” Chow said.
